Core is an AI-powered homework tutoring tool developed and operated by Ventryx Inc. ("Ventryx", "we", "us", or "our"). Core is designed to help students understand maths and science concepts through guided explanation and tutoring.

Core is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Sparx Learning Limited in any way. References to "Sparx" within the product are purely to describe the subject matter students may be working on. All trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.

By accessing or using Core (the "Service"), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are under 18, your parent or guardian must also agree to these Terms on your behalf.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.

• You must be at least 13 years of age to use Core.
• By using Core, you confirm that all information you provide is accurate and truthful.

You agree to use Core solely for personal, non-commercial educational purposes. You must not:

• Use Core to submit work as your own in contexts where that would constitute academic dishonesty or fraud.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract any part of the Service, its models, or underlying infrastructure.
• Upload or transmit any harmful, offensive, unlawful, or infringing content.

Any content you submit to Core (such as questions or inputs) remains yours. By submitting content, you grant Ventryx a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use that content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service.

Core is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses.
• Any information provided by Core is accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose.
• Core will improve your academic performance or guarantee any educational outcome.

Core is a tutoring aid only. You remain responsible for your own learning and any academic submissions you make.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ventryx Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or any damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or £50, whichever is greater.

Core may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party sites. Accessing those sites is at your own risk.

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Service at any time, with or without notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision.

You may stop using Core at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you breach these Terms, or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, all licences granted to you will immediately cease.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
